| Our Mission Is To Assist All In Need Who Seek Our Help Our main mission is to HELP THOSE IN NEED TO HELP THEMSELVES. To lean on Jesus & not hand-outs. We focus a great deal of time in assisting the homeless. By working with other agencies and Churches we make it a priority to get these individuals & families off the streets and into a Transitional Living Program or sometimes directly into their own apartment or house. In doing this, we are successful due to the tremendous amount of team work between Valley Christian Outreach and other Homeless providers in the area. Although the average citizen in our community is not aware of the homeless problem in our area, it is a TREMENDOUS problem. The most alarming issue with our homeless population is the number of American Veterans who are sleeping in cars or in self-made tent communities in the outlined and rural areas. Another sad point is the number of children that are homeless as well. 40% of local children cannot afford the price of school lunches. There is a waiting list and WE must fill the gap. We minister to the spiritual needs as well. If you do not have a Bible, a home church, a Pastor or a solid relationship with Jesus Christ, then you REALLY NEED us to introduce you to the life changing experiences that happens when you come to know our LORD and SAVIOR. We are here to HELP you find your way through the promises of Jesus. Each case is handled on an individual basis depending on the need of the individual or family and the resources that we have available at the time of the request.
